We provide unique dance experiences throughout the UK for hen parties, birthday parties, weddings and corporate events as well as regular dance courses held in and around our hometown of Sheffield.
How it all started...
Dancemotion was the creation of Melanie Turner; an experienced dance teacher, choreographer and performer. Having taught a wide variety of adult dance and dance-fitness classes since 1998, she found a number of requests coming her way for private lessons and parties. Dancemotion was soon to be born and it officially launched in April 2008 with its ‘Dance Experience’ packages for hen parties and private events. These events have taken Melanie and her team all over the UK working with amazing people ensuring they have a dance experience to remember!
Our Dance Diva courses for women were launched in March 2009. These courses celebrate the female form therefore most of the styles taught are very feminine and sexy such as Latin, Burlesque, Pop and Jazz. With Dance Divas, we wanted to share our passion for dance with other women promoting self-confidence, improved fitness, fun and creativity - regardless of your age, ability, size or shape!
